Born and raised in Mullumbimby, I have always been surrounded by the good hearted nature of the local community. Whether I’m chatting to everyone I see or laughing loudly at a good joke, I’m always excited to be a part of Mullumbimby’s character.
At the age of 17, I began working at Stewart’s Menswear, a store which was established by the Stewart family in 1929. 11 years ago my wife and I purchased the store which continues to be a part of the fabric of Mullum’s main street.
I am also involved on the Committees of Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce, Mullumbimby Giants Rugby League Football Club and Mullumbimby Touch Football. I enjoy attending any local sporting, community or social events.
I am happy to put myself on the stage to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Council. We all know someone who has been touched by cancer in some way – be it themselves, a family member, friend or colleague.
Who knows after 35 years, there may be a change in career on the horizon? I will try my luck at dancing – I may tread on your toes but I`ll give you a laugh when I do!
